Looking for mid-week inspiration? Join us at The Yavneh Academy, where weekly sessions deliver thought-provoking discussion and valuable life lessons. Hear from a range of Leibler Yavneh College staff on different topics throughout the year.

Year 7 2026 | Student Experience Day | Friday 15 August | כ״א אב

Join us for a special Student Experience Day where you'll get a taste of life at Yavneh - meet new friends, try out high school classes, and explore our warm, welcoming Jewish environment. It's a great chance to see our teachers in action, feel the school spirit and discover what makes Yavneh unique. Students should bring snacks and a packed lunch, pencil case with pens, highlighters, pencils, textas, glue and scissors.

Visit to Prep Classrooms. We invite all Yavneh 2026 Prep students to visit our Prep classrooms on Thursday 28 August from 9:30 - 10:45am at our Elsternwick Campus at 2 Nagle Avenue.

Ta'am Shel Yavneh ELC Open Day | Simcha & Song | Thursday 30 October ח' חשוון

Taam Shel Yavneh is a series of open group sessions, running from May to November in 2025 & current Yavneh children & new families are welcome. Our next session will be Simcha & Song and will take place on Thursday 30 October at the Yavneh ELC located at 81 Balaclava Road, commencing at 9:15am

Taam Shel Yavneh is a series of open group sessions, running from May to November in 2025 & current Yavneh children & new families are welcome. Our next session will be a Shabbat Party Makers  on Friday 14 November at the Yavneh ELC located at 81 Balaclava Road, commencing at 9:15am.

School Endorsed Events

A School endorsed program is an event or activity that takes place outside of school hours and school premises and for which the College takes no responsibility of liability, but is nonetheless endorsed by the College.

Endorsement of the event means that the event will be advertised and publicised in Kesher, on our social media channels and at school assemblies with students encouraged to attend.

For school endorsed events:

  • Parents are responsible for travel to and from the event
  • There is no official staff supervision at the event
  • The College will not organise for there to be any first aid equipment at the event.
  • All College staff who attend the event will be act within the guidelines of our staff code of conduct.
