YavBubs Playgroup

Where mini-menschen learn and play!

“Our mission is to expand our nurturing and supportive community by creating a space where even babies can explore, learn and grow and where their parents can find friendship, advice and community.”

Leibler Yavneh College is excited to announce a new program for parents and their little ones. YavBubs is a Chag & Jewish calendar focussed activity for parents and their babies, which offers engaging and fun play, as well as Jewish learning experiences. Designed for children aged 9 months and older, YavBubs will be a ‘baby’ edition of our wonderfully rich Creche and ELC program.

The sessions will be run by our very own Morah Yael, a highly experienced early childhood educator who inspires and engages with sparkle and warmth.  YavBubs is a unique blend of age-appropriate play, Jewish music, Hebrew and singing and moving through the celebration of Shabbat and the Jewish calendar. Through experiential learning opportunities, even the youngest members of the Yavneh family can start to enjoy and connect to the rich tapestry of Torah and Mitzvot.

Beyond the learning opportunities, YavBubs also offers a warm and welcoming environment for parents to connect, share experiences and form lasting friendships in the Yavneh family.

“Our mission is to expand our nurturing and supportive community by creating a space where even babies can explore, learn and grow and where their parents can find friendship, advice and community” said Shula Lazar [Principal]. “We are excited to introduce this initiative to the community, and we anticipate that YavBubs will provide a supportive, fun environment for young families. Even though it is some time since my own children were babies, I fondly remember the joy of singing Shabbat songs with them and sharing the eager anticipation of upcoming chaggim through music and games” she added.

YavBubs will be open to all babies and their parents (or grandparents or special friends!) whether they are enrolled to attend Yavneh ELC (Early Learning Centre) or not. All those looking to participate in a supportive & nurturing community are welcome.

In 2024, sessions will run throughout the term in the lead up to Chaggim from 9:45am – 10:30am to view when our next session will be, head to https://yavneh.vic.edu.au/events/yavbubs/ or contact the College on 03 9528 4911 or via email atmarketing@yavneh.vic.edu.au
